The Waiting Place

The Waiting Place invites you….

Join six performers in an intimate and immersive evening where they share parts of themselves with visceral physicality where we question how have we come here. Is it because we have come to a stop and can no longer push forward or is it that we've been moving too fast that we need to slow down?

A dance-theatre work, that was site-specifically constructed, at Thinker’s Theatre in Taipei, Taiwan in 2019. The work reflects upon the human condition, of waiting, waiting for things to happen, that is often caused by a blind insistence to keep going on and not reflect, and how this insistence can lead us to a place where one ends up waiting. Inspired by the childhood memory of the Dr. Seuss’s book, Oh the Places You’ll Go.
